Darnaby Student Council Makes Presentation At State Capitol

Darnaby's STUCO Officers and Class Representatives, presented to the Senate Education Committee Tuesday with their 4th grade lead-teacher, Aaron Parsons and 5th grade lead-teacher and STUCO Sponsor, Karen Mahoney.

Student STUCO President addressed the committee and was followed by the STUCO team singing their school song. Theresa Kiger, executive director of Elementary Education for Union Public Schools, shared their successes are leveraged by their community partners , families, staff, and students who have an outstanding 92 percent participating in out-of-school time clubs!

Darnaby is addressing the needs of their students by partnering with families and engaging community partners.
